You have become an Advanced Open Water Diver and you have completed a minimum of 20 dives now you are ready to learn how help yourself and other divers in emergency situations. The course lasts 2 to 3 days in which you will first complete the theoretical part of rescue training followed by a rescue theory exam. After completing the theory you will learn in shallow and open water all the necessary rescue skills which you will demonstrate to your instructor in 2 practical rescue scenarios. Upon successful completion you are now a Rescue Diver.
